Monster Mash is one of Coe's favorite community events, and we're looking for a small team of volunteers to help bring it to life! Whether you love planning, decorating, organizing, or creating fun experiences for kids, we'd love to have you involved. Email president@coepta.org for more details!
PTA Leadership Support
You won't be doing this alone! The PTA Exec Team will help coordinate planning meetings, provide guidance and resources, assist with communications, and support volunteers throughout the process. Our goal is to empower leads to focus on the fun parts while we help keep everything moving forward.
Decor Lead
Plans decorations, signage, photo opportunities, and the overall look and feel of the event.
Games Lead
Coordinates games, activities, contests, and other kid-friendly fun throughout the event.
Food & Treats (POSITIONS FILLED!)
Coordinate food trucks, concessions, Musical Cakes, and other food-related elements.
Volunteer Lead
Recruits volunteers, manages day-of volunteers, and helps coordinate setup and teardown.

Day of Volunteer Opps
The Monster Mash is a volunteer-run, fun event for current Coe students and family members. We have so many spook-tacular ways for you to help brew up another boo-tiful Monster Mash!
Volunteer to run a game or craft, set up, clean up, or decorate for the event.
Bakers (or shoppers) for desserts and cakes can contribute fun and ghostly creations for the bake sale and musical cakes. Sign up link coming soon!
KNOW BEFORE YOU GO
🆓 Due to the generosity of Coe families during 2025-26’s fundraising efforts, this year’s Monster Mash is FREE for all to attend, which means no tickets are required for games as they have been in past years.
🌮 🍕 Come Hungry! We will have a variety of Food Trucks available for all to enjoy!
🧁🍪 This year’s Bake Sale will benefit our Coe 5th Grade class and their annual overnight trip Islandwood! Each item costs $1 and we can accept cash or credit card payments.
📖 🧙♀️ Witches Brew Storytime: This is a mellow story time which can be a welcomed calm moment amongst the hustle and bustle of the other Monster Mash activities
🪩 DJ & Dancing: Meet up in the covered basketball and show off those moves! You might even see a teacher or two dancing the night away 😃
🍿 Free Popcorn! Head to the covered basketball court for a buttery snack. (Limit one per person)
🕸️🎳 Head to the gym to play Games like Haunted Bowling or Spider Toss and your chance to win Prizes!
🎃🎨 Explore halloween themed Crafts in the cafeteria.
🎶 🎂 Will your lucky number be called? In the atrium you can line up for Musical Cakes and your chance to leave the Monster Mash with one of our incredible confections made (or purchased) by members of our Coe-mmunity!
📸 Grab the fam or another Coe Cougar and say “BOO” at the Photo Booth!
🦸 Costumes Encouraged: Kids and adults, have fun showing off your creativity! No weapons please. Be Safe. Be Kind. Be Coe!
